OkioBox is compatible with both ONVIF and RTSP protocols, providing flexible options for integrating with various IP-based security systems and devices. Our product seamlessly connects with ONVIF-compatible devices. The ONVIF protocol allows automatic detection and configuration of network video devices. When you connect an ONVIF-compliant camera to our system, it is automatically recognized and configured, making the setup process easy and efficient. For devices using the RTSP protocol, our system also offers support. However, unlike ONVIF, RTSP does not support automatic detection. To integrate an RTSP-compatible device, you will need to manually enter the RTSP URL of the camera. This process is straightforward – simply navigate to the camera settings in our system and input the RTSP URL provided by the camera manufacturer. This will allow you to access the video stream.
